Warranty


  

Standard Warranty: 

LiFe Series by F8 Products LLP (with a brand F8 Energy) of products are designed for power backup for home and industries of all scale.

LiFe stands for Longevity, LiFe stands for Safety, LiFe stands for Lithium and Ferro-phosphate which is one of the safest combinations. LiFe batteries are compatible with most inverters in the market. F8 recommends best in class inverters for warranty purpose.

These warranty terms and conditions are only applicable for the devices purchased from F8 or its Authorized dealer network for selling and installation in the defined destination set forth in the purchase order (India), unless there are specifically stipulated. If the products out of warranty, F8 may (optional) provide certain after-sales service to the original buyer at chargeable basis. This after-sales service is applicable only if buyer provide valid information about any defects caused while in normal operation.

Temperature:

· Charge: 0°C to 50°C

· Discharge: -10°C to 45°C


Indoor:   Ventilated   but protected from rain, dusty environment and exposure to direct sunlight.


Humidity: 80% Non-Condensing,   with-out dust PPM not to exceed 100- 300 define limits for ISO 9 or IP 22 enclosures.   / Floating particle matter.


Warranty Void If:

· Used outside   these ranges or exposed to momentary or continuous extreme heat/cold temperatures. (e.g., direct sunlight).

· Installed in damp, dusty, or unventilated areas.

· Product comes in contact with water.

· Product / its components are   with extreme dust / particulate matter. 

 

Load

As per rated capacity. (avoid sustained overloading)


· Overloaded beyond specifications

· Connected to inverters not recommended by F8. Check F8 website for recommended   list of Inverters.

 

Maintenance: Generally, our products are maintenance free.

Warranty Void If:

· Tamper / breaking seal.

· Unauthorized modifications / opening.

· Unauthorized repairs.

· Physical damage   due to drop, impact force / external fire   / other forms of mishandling such as stacking other products on top.

· Any External   power and Communication cables / wires / connectors are Cut / damaged 

 

Storage : Recharge at least once in 3 months if unused   / disconnected to power source.

Warranty Void If: Left disconnected for ≥3  months without usage / maintenance.

 

Miscellaneous

Warranty Void If:

· Jump starting the vehicle or other battery.

· Parallel or series connection of more than one battery of same   or different batteries in an attempt to enhance   the power required or Other than the recommended connection by F8.

· Connecting to direct load beyond the rated power of the battery.

· Damage while transportation between seller (when seller is other than F8) and   buyer.

· Failure to follow the instructions in user manual, the installation   guide, and the maintenance regulations.

· Failure to notify the defects or degradation of products to authorized distributors/channel partners within 15 days.

· Connecting the battery to the brand inverters which are not   recommended by F8.

· Not in use for 3 months or more.

· Failure to share the original invoice copy / Registered copy with the dealer   from the date of sale.

· If the serial number on the product can no longer be recognized   or has been modified.

· Any damage to products due to natural calamities/ accidents/hazardous/ chemical/ water / pollutant environment /riots /strikes /war is not covered in warranty.


   

For warranty void products, F8 would charge additional cost for spare parts, labour charges, transportation etc on actuals or according to the maintenance contract, if there is maintenance contract signed.


The above terms & conditions (together with the warranty card in product packing, and the affixed warranty documents) describes all responsibilities for products sold by F8. Without formal document confirmation, F8 would not be responsible for any responsibilities beyond of this warranty term. When product is under warranty, F8’s responsibility will be limited to service, replacement and repair according to the warranty terms & conditions. The above measures are the only and exclusive obligations of F8 to the original buyer under the limited warranty. If the product doesn’t comply with the limited warranty, F8 will not be responsible for any action to the original buyer.


The replaced products or parts has to be submitted to F8. Unless otherwise agreed by F8, any replaced products or components should be made available for pickup by F8 within four (4) weeks, otherwise F8 has right to issue invoices on the replaceable parts at a full market price.

F8 have rights to issue invoices for inspection costs if no defects were found in the process of checking the product or it works without error.


If any terms of this warranty are considered or found invalid, no effect or other unruly (whether it is for one party or in general), it will be regarded as invalid scope.


Product Defects Coverage

· Explicitly cover defects in manufacturing, materials, and workmanship—including all battery modules, inverters, and support electronics—for the agreed warranty duration of 1000 cycles or 3 years whichever is earlier. 

· Manufacturing defects in battery cells, casing, and other internal components are usually covered with in 1 year of performance analysis and AMC.

· Specify valid warranty term as the earlier of either years, cycles, or total energy delivered (throughput energy = 1500 cycles * BESS Capacity in kWh)—warranty ends once any threshold is reached or less than 80% SOH. 


Claim Requirements

· Proof of Purchase: Warranty registration with original invoice with purchase (within1 month of purchase).

· Product Details: Serial numbers should be visible and clear.

· Installation Proof: Photos of setup (ventilation, shading, breaker compliance).

· Description: of the issue in detail.


Exclusions

· Transportation damage (must report within 1 weeks of delivery).

· Consequential damages (e.g., downtime costs).

· Products with tampered/altered serial numbers.

  

Note

· F8 reserves the right on this service commitment on case-to-case basis.

· If warranty period specified on purchase order is different to the specified warranty in this document, then warranty period would obey to purchase order.

· Secondary ownership / re-sold batteries do not have any warranty.
